Terms & Conditions
Article 1 – Object
“1. The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale (“GTCS”) is to define the conditions under which an individual (the “Customer”) may reserve karaoke rooms (The Rooms) online on the www.bam-karaokebox.com website.
In France, this site is published by the company SINGTIME, SAS with capital of €41,044.55, registered with the RCS of PARIS under number 793 501 487, whose registered office is located at 40 avenue de la République, 75011 Paris (“SINGTIME”).
In Spain, this site is published by SINGTIME IB, S.L., registered in the Barcelona Commercial Register under Volume 46313, Folio 146 and Page B516243. SINGTIME IB, S.L. (“SINGTIME”) has Tax Identification Code B67171264 and its registered office is located at Avenida Diagonal, nº 584, principal, (08021) Barcelona.
In the United Kingdom, this site is published by SINGTIME UK LTD, registered under number 13916632 and whose address is 23 Copenhagen Street, London N1 0JB.”
Article 2 – Scope of the TOS and data privacy policy
2. The T&Cs and the data privacy policy exclusively govern reservations at the SINGTIME, SINGTIME IB and SINGTIME UK LTD Rooms located at 30 rue Richer – 75009 Paris, at 50, rue d’Aboukir – 75002 Paris, at 40, avenue de la République – 75011 Paris, at 69 avenue Wagram – 75017 Paris, at 36 rue Cornac – 36000 Bordeaux, at C. de Recoletos, 23, PLANTA BAJA, 28001 Madrid, C, de Luchana, 20, 28010 Madrid and 74 Victoria Street, Victoria, London by the Customer and constitutes, together with the booking confirmation, the contract formed between the parties.
Article 3 – Changes of the TOS
3.1. SINGTIME, SINGTIME IB et SINGTIME UK LTD reserve the right to change these terms of service at any time and at its sole discretion.
3.2. The Customer must therefore consult the TOS and any modifications before each order confirmation (requiring acceptance of the TOS).

Article 4 – TOS clauses
4.1. The invalidity of a contractual clause does not result in the invalidity of these TOS.
4.2. The temporary or permanent non-application of one or more clauses of the GCS by SINGTIME, SINGTIME IB and SINGTIME UK LTD shall not constitute a waiver by SINGTIME, SINGTIME IB a,d SINGTIME UK LTD of the other clauses of the GCS, which shall continue to have effect.
Article 5 – Rooms description
5. Customers can book the following 83 rooms in Paris, Madrid, Bordeaux and London:
A 3-person room
Four 4-person rooms
Twenty 6-person rooms
Eighteen 8-person rooms
Thirteen 10-person rooms
Eleven 12-person rooms
Seven 15-person rooms
Four 18-person rooms
Two 22-person rooms
One 25-person room
Three 30-person rooms
It is understood that these capacities may change from time to time or permanently depending on the commercial policy of SINGTIME, SINGTIME IB and SINGTIME UK.
Article 6 – Session and consumptions prices
6.1. The prices of the sessions are given in pounds, including taxes and by box. The prices may be checked on the BAM Karaoke Box website when booking.
Broadly speaking, the prices change depending on the day of the week and the time of the day. Prices may differ from one venue to another.
Karaoke sessions may last 1h, 2h, 2h30, 3h or any other length which could be displayed on the booking page.
The box price is fixed and cannot be reduced, even if the participants are less than the box capacity. If the participants are more numerous, an extra fee will be required.
6.2. SINGTIME, SINGTIME IB and SINGTIME UK LTD reserve the right to modify their prices at any time, whilst guaranteeing the Client the application of the price in force on the day of the reservation.
6.3. The purchase of a consumption envelope is binding on the customer and no refunds can be made.
The selling price of the products commercialised on the site in pre-order may differ from the selling price indicated on the classic menu.
6.4. The Customer may not bring food or drink. The company does not offer any corkage fees.
Article 7 – Booking policy
7.1. The Customer can book the Rooms via the website.
7.2. During the booking process, the availability of rooms is shown to the Customer in real time at the payment validation stage.
7.3. To book a room, the Customer must click on their chosen time slot and then on the “Book” tab.
7.4. The Customer must then provide the following information: first name, last name, email address and phone number, before clicking on the “Confirm” tab.
7.5. Before clicking on the “Confirm” tab, the Customer has the chance to check the details of their booking and the total price.
7.6. Confirming the order indicates acceptance of the TOS by the Customer and establishes the contract.
7.7. We require 100% down payment to confirm the booking.
“7.8. For bookings in France, once the booking has been confirmed, the customer will receive an e-mail from SINGTIME (contact@bam-karaokebox.com) entitled “”BAM-Karaoke Box – Booking Confirmation””.
For bookings in Spain, once the booking has been confirmed, the customer will receive an e-mail from SINGTIME IB (contacto@bam-karaokebox.com) entitled “”BAM-Karaoke Box -Su reserva está confirmada””.
For bookings in the United Kingdom, once the booking has been confirmed, the customer will receive an e-mail from SINGTIME (contact@bam-karaokebox.com) entitled ‘Your booking has been confirmed!””.”
Article 8 – Customer area
8.1. When the Customer makes a booking for the first time, their customer area is automatically generated using their email address.
8.2. The client sets up his password when creating his customer area.
8.3. The Customer can then change this password to one of their choosing by logging into their customer area.
Article 9 – Archiving/Proof
“9.1. In France, Order Confirmations are archived on a reliable and durable medium so as to constitute a true and durable copy in accordance with article 1348 of the French Civil Code.
In Spain, Order Confirmations are archived on a reliable and durable medium so as to constitute a true and durable copy in accordance with article 98.7 of Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007, of November 16, Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios.
In the United Kingdom, Order Confirmations are archived on a reliable and durable medium so as to constitute a true and durable copy.”
9.2. Order Confirmations can be produced as proof of the contract.
Article 10 – Payment
10.1. Bookings are paid via payment card.
10.2. BAM currently accepts the following payment cards: CB, Visa and MasterCard.
10.3. The Customer guarantees their ability to use their payment card to book Rooms on thewebsite.
10.4. SINGTIME, SINGTIME IB and SINGTIME UK LTD have the right to transmit bank details confidentially and securely via the Stripe secure payment platform set up by SINGTIME, SINGTIME IB or SINGTIME UK LTD, or by any other platform with the same level of security that may be substituted for it.
Article 11 – Accessing the venue
“11.1. In Spain, access to minors under 18 years old is limited to the bar and authorized only until 23:00. After 23:00 the establishment is reserved for over 18s.
In the UK, we are strictly reserved for over-18s after 7pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Children under 18 are not allowed in on Saturdays. On Sundays, under-18s are welcome all day. You will need to provide proof of age and identity on arrival at the venue. You must be able to produce a valid UK driving license or passport if requested. Failure to do so will result in you being refused entry and no refund.”
11.2. We do not permit any external food or alcohol in our venue, unless previously agreed or these items will be confiscated.
11.3. Please note CCTV is in operation in our venue for the safety of our team and guests.
11.4. Photography and video sessions may take place on our premises from time to time. By booking with us, you agree that any images and videos taken of you and your party on our premises may be used by us for promotional activities. If you do not wish SINGTIME, SINGTIME IB or SINGTIME UK LTD to use images and/or video of you or your party, please inform a member of staff on arrival or email contact@bam-karaokebox.com for inquiries relating to France and Spain, and booking@bam-karaokebox.com for inquiries relating to the UK.
Article 12 – Accessing the rooms
12.1. The Customer will be able to access the Rooms from the beginning of the session booked on the website.
12.2. In the event that the Customer is late, the session can not be postponed.
12.3. Should the previous slot of the karaoke room be available before the start of the booked session, the Customer will be able to access it a maximum of 30 minutes earlier and enjoy a longer session without any extra charge.
12.4 In France, children under 16 won’t be allowed to access karaoke rooms without their mother, father, legal tutor or any adult in charge.
“In Spain, minors from 16 to 18 can access the karaoke boxes until 11pm.
Minors are allowed in the karaoke rooms until 11pm only. Each minor under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian.”
In the UK, children under 18 won’t be allowed into karaoke halls without their mother, father, legal guardian or other responsible adult.
Article 13 – Booking cancellation and changes policy
13.1. The Customer can cancel or change their booking via their customer area.
13.2. Bookings can only be changed once (change of date, session or room).
13.3. The Customer cannot change their booking less than 72 hours before the start of their karaoke session.
13.4. The Customer can cancel their session at any time. The refund/credit policy is laid out in Article 13.5.
13.5. For cancellations:
The Customer will be fully refunded if they send their cancellation request at least 3 weeks before the start of the karaoke session.
The Customer will have the right to a credit if they send their cancellation request from 3 weeks to 72 hours before the start of the karaoke session.
The Customer will not have the right to a refund or a credit if they send their cancellation request less than 72 hours before the start of the karaoke session.
If the customer booked their session less than 72 hours in advance, we invite him/her to contact our Customer Service at booking@bam-karaokebox.com for any cancellation or room change requests. All cancellation requests are accepted and credited.
13.6. This credit will be available in the customer area, and is valid for 6 months for the exclusive purpose of booking a new session.
13.7. This credit cannot be reissued if the booking is cancelled again. Only an additional payment via the website for a new booking can be the subject of a refund or a credit, as per the cancellation policy provided in Article 13.5.
“13.8. For bookings in France, the customer has no right of withdrawal, in accordance with the provisions of Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code. On the other hand, we grant the customer a certain amount of flexibility within one hour of booking. This means that if cancellation is made within one hour of booking, the customer will be refunded the full amount paid at the time of booking.
For bookings in Spain, the customer has no right of withdrawal, in accordance with article 103.l) of Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of November 16, Ley General para la Defensa de los Consumidores y Usuarios. On the other hand, we allow the customer a certain amount of flexibility within one hour of booking. This means that if cancellation is made within one hour of booking, the customer will be refunded the full amount paid at the time of booking.
For bookings in the UK, the customer has no right of withdrawal. However, we do allow the customer some flexibility within one hour of booking. This means that if cancellation is made within one hour of booking, the customer will be refunded the full amount paid at the time of booking.””
13.9. In the event of cancellation of a reservation made with a credit note or gift card, a credit note will be created for the Customer, even for a cancellation period of more than 3 weeks. In the event of cancellation made within a period of less than 72 hours (except for reservations made within a period of less than 72 hours), the Customer will not be entitled to the creation of a credit note.
Article 14 – Guest Obligations
For the Contract, a “Guest” is any person participating in or attending your booking, including you. You will ensure that Guests:
14.1. cooperate with us in all matters relating to the Services, including complying with our instructions and regulations in relation to health and safety;
14.2. provide us with such information and materials as we may reasonably require in order to supply the Services, and ensure that & such information is complete and accurate;
14.3. comply with all applicable laws, including health and safety laws, and all Site regulations made available to them;
14.4. treat our staff with courtesy and respect. This means that aggressive or violent behaviour towards our staff or any member of the public within our premises will not be tolerated under any circumstances and Guests will be escorted off the premises;
14.5. are over the age of 18 and, if required, submit to us carrying out security searches and ID checks on or after entry to our premises;
14.6. drink responsibly. We can refuse entry or service to, or remove, any Guest whose behaviour puts at risk the enjoyment and safety of others;
14.7. do not cause damage to our equipment or other property, and you will be responsible for paying for any damage they cause, if they do not pay for it;
14.8. safeguard their own possessions while on our premises. To the fullest extent under law, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to such possessions;
14.9. For the concerned venues, are aware that if they choose to use the cloakroom, they do so at their own risk, and they must safeguard their cloakroom ticket and, if lost, we will not return the Guest’s items for at least 24 hours in order to verify belongings;
If our performance of any of our obligations under the Contract is prevented or delayed because you did not perform your obligations (“Customer Default”):
14.10. we can suspend performance of the Services until you remedy the Customer Default;
14.11. we will not be liable for any costs or losses sustained or incurred by you arising directly or indirectly from the suspension; and
14.12. you will reimburse us for any costs or losses sustained or incurred by us arising directly or indirectly from the Customer Default.
Article 15 – Intellectual property
15.1. All texts, comments, illustrations, works and images reproduced or represented on the website are strictly reserved under copyright and intellectual property rights, for the entire term of protection of these rights and for the entire world.
15.2. In the event of any reproduction, representation, modification or total or partial adaptation of the www.bam-karaokebox.com website and/or all or part of the elements incorporated in it, offenders will be subject to prosecution.
Article 16 – Personal data protection
“16.1 In France, SINGTIME undertakes to respect the confidentiality of personal data communicated by the Customer on the site in connection with the booking of Rooms, and to process them in compliance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978.
In Spain, SINGTIME IB undertakes to respect the confidentiality of personal data communicated by the Customer on the site in connection with the booking of Rooms, and to process them in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, General Data Protection and Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 on the protection of personal data and the guarantee of digital rights.
In the United Kingdom, SINGTIME UK LTD undertakes to respect the confidentiality of personal data communicated by the Customer on the website in order to book the Rooms, and to process such data.”
16.2. SINGTIME and SINGTIME UK LTD inform you that the personal data provided by the Customer will be used by its internal departments for the purpose of processing Room reservations.
16.3. The processing of personal data, which is stored by SINGTIME for the sole purpose of effectively managing Room bookings, is the subject of a declaration to the National Commission on Informatics and Liberty (CNIL).
“16.4 In France, in accordance with the French Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, customers may at any time exercise their right of access to the file, their right of opposition and their right to rectification or deletion of information concerning them by sending their request (stating their surname, first name, e-mail address and postal address) to the following address contact@bam-karaokebox.com.
In Spain, the customer may at any time exercise his right of access to the file, his right of opposition and his right of rectification or deletion for information concerning him by sending his request (mentioning his surname, first name, e-mail address, postal address) to the following address contacto@bam-karaokebox.com.
In the United Kingdom, the customer may at any time exercise his right of access to the file, his right of opposition and his right to rectification or deletion of information concerning him by sending his request (mentioning his surname, first name, e-mail address and postal address) to the following address booking@bam-karaokebox.com.”
16.5. BAM Karaoke Box establishments are equipped with CCTVS, including in the karaoke rooms, in compliance with the rules in force in each country.
Article 17 – Return of the room and equipment
17. The room and equipment made available to the Customer must be returned in good working order. In the event that the Customer is responsible for damage to the rooms, equipment or common areas, the repairs will be appraised and the Customer will be notified by email within thirty (30) days. The Customer will pay for the damages within fifteen (15) days of the notification, excluding insurance delays.
Article 18 – Applicable law – Disputes
“18.1 In France, these GCS are governed by French law.
In Spain, these GTC are governed by Spanish law.
In the United Kingdom, these GTC are subject to British law.”
“18.2. For all complaints concerning reservations in France, the Customer should contact SINGTIME’s customer service department at the following address contact@bam-karaokebox.com, in order to obtain an amicable solution. Failing this, the French courts will have jurisdiction.
For all complaints concerning reservations in Spain, the Customer should contact SINGTIME’s customer service department at the following address contacto@bam-karaokebox.com, in order to obtain an amicable solution. Failing this, the Spanish courts will have jurisdiction.
For all complaints concerning reservations in the United Kingdom, the Customer should contact SINGTIME UK LTD’s customer service department at the following address booking@bam-karaokebox.com, in order to obtain an amicable solution. Failing this, the British courts will have jurisdiction.”
